UVision featured by CIO Review magazine in 2017 Top 20 Most Promising Cloud Solution Providers

April 08, 2018

In June 2017, CIO Review contacted us to be featured in the Top 20 “2017 Most Promising Cloud Solution Providers” which is an annual market research survey of cloud solution providers conducted by CIO Review. This Top 20 feature and mention was a pleasant surprise at UVision. We appreciate the fact that someone from the CIOReview magazine audience may have nominated us to be considered for this survey.

The team from CIO Review surveyed the world and chose our company and CEO in the list out of 300+ companies they surveyed. UVision was listed in the top 20 leaders next to the leaders of the top cloud computing companies including Microsoft, Google, Rackspace, Amazon AWS & SalesForce.

Upon learning of this achievement, CEO of UVision, Omar Uddin, stated “It’s a great honor to be listed and ranked along with the top leaders of the cloud computing world.”

Uddin also added “We choose and recommend cloud and other types of hosting infrastructure when building new solutions from the ground up and also helping new and established businesses streamline and grow their business and operations through cloud transformation.  We’ve been recommending such solutions to startups, small businesses and enterprises before people considered the Cloud trustworthy and before governments would consider it for their critical needs.  In addition, I’ve been an evangelist of both open source and enterprise technologies and an advocate of the cloud as well as a spectrum of technology stacks including multi-cloud, dedicated & hybrid computing and other computing technologies and devices to build foundational roadmap strategies in products that we’re developing or companies that I advise going back many years. At UVision, we are happy to have been recommending cloud based solutions when beneficial to organizations well before the cloud trend began. We also do everything we can to ensure that organizations who choose the cloud understand how to leverage it for maximum control, reliability, flexibility & most importantly support escalation with infrastructure providers”.

The list of Top 20 Most Promising Cloud Solution Providers as ranked by CIO Review is now viewable at the online magazine edition of CIO Review and the CIO Review website and below:

20 Most Promising Cloud Solution Providers 2017

Considering the growing acceptance of cloud migration across large and small enterprises, it is a given that cloud computing is here to stay. The security aspect alone is enough to convince large enterprises and SMBs alike that cloud computing paradigms offer ironclad protection to mission-critical data. In addition to the bread and butter features of unlimited storage and scalability, cheap upfront payments, and ease of deployment, the cloud also adds value to up-and-coming networking technologies. Container technology is one such example, where the cloud can catalyze viable means for initiating and deploying micro-services as well as applications.
